Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level network systems, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and firewall technologies, with a focus on the Asia Pacific region.
  • Develop and implement network security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data integrity and confidentiality across the Asia Pacific network.
  • Evaluate and recommend new network technologies and solutions to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) assessments for new network technologies to determine feasibility and effectiveness.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to network engineers and IT staff, including training sessions and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve network-related issues, including downtime, security breaches, and performance degradation.
  • Monitor network performance and utilization, analyze traffic and logs, and optimize configurations to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct network capacity planning and scalability assessments to mitigate potential issues.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and procedures for accurate communication of network changes and updates.
  • Participate in project planning, budgeting, and vendor relationship management related to network infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • 10+ years of experience in network engineering, including design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Expert knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VPN, WLAN, and firewalls.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing network infrastructure projects, including MPLS, firewall, SD-WAN, and SDN.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative solutions for complex issues.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Industry certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, or CISSP are preferred.
