Principal Software Engineer

Seeking a Principal Engineer for a client within the Crypto and Web3 space. The ideal candidate will be part of a global organization working on solutions catered towards both retail as well as institutional clients. Responsibilities

• Designing, building and consistently improving the existing architecture with consistent optimization and development of new features
• Engagement in refactoring and upgrading projects
• Identify gaps in engineering practices and help give feedback at various levels of development ensuring high engineering standards are being adhered to across the team
• Delivering codes that are of high quality and maintainability
• Responsible for performing code reviews within the team to ensure accuracy and scalability
• Identifying potential impacts and pitfalls with existing designs on the wider team and organization

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Masters' degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or any other related field and discipline
• Expertise in either Scala or Java
• Strong product ownership mindset with proven ability to balance between the needs of users' and businesses' requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated experience of leading other engineers on complex projects while working cross-functionally with other teams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills being able to effectively work with both internal and external stakeholders
• **Experience in the Web3, Crypto, Fintech, Payments space would be ideal
